Real Life
Your Age: Nearly 28
Your country/time zone: Germany
A short introduction:
Well, I love reading and I do like writing poems and stories. I play a German role playing Browsergame, too. I play an Amazon there (not historically correct, we put a lot of imagination in the description of our village and the concept of our society), but everything's in German so only few of you will be able to judge my writing qualities by that.
But, lucky me, I have a reference: Ricky, your second Loki. She knows my poems and stories and she thinks I'd fit. It was, in fact, her invitation that brought me here.
Fanfic you've written:
Sorry, I've never written fanfic. They're a bit of a legal problem in Germany.
Your character:
Rose Heerkens
Fandom they're from:
Tanya Huff's Book "Blood Trail"
Why you picked this particular character:
I like the Blood Books and I especially liked the "were" (the Heerkens are werewolves). I had to choose between Rose and Peter, the werewolf-twins who recently matured and do have ample reason to leave their family's farm for a while. And Ricky said there was a definite lack of women in your game, so I thought to bring Rose. But don't get your hopes up, guys, werewolves think humans don't smell right. ;) Don't know about gods though.
How did they get to Lower Tadfield:
On two to four legs, depending on wether there were people around to wonder what a big white dog was doing with a backpack...
What your character is likely to do there:
Try to keep her real nature a secret as she was taught to do. And try to get to know some people, as it's her first time away from any pack. She's still young (just had her first heat a while back) and she's curious and playful.
Anything else you’d like to tell us about your character:
As I'm not sure if you've read the book, I should probably tell you one thing or another about Tanya Huff's werewolves. They all have a two-legged and a four-legged form, and the name changes with the form. You don't become a werewolf if they bite you, they're their own species and born as werewolves. They can change at will, but only if they're nude, so they have a certain dislike for clothes but wear them in public of course. Their "fur-form" is bigger than normal wolves and normally mistaken for a very, very large dog. The colour of their fur and the colour of their hair (when in human form) are pretty much identical.
As Rose and Peter are twins, they are very close. When twins mature, one of them is sent away, because they would try to mate (no male werewolf is immune to a female werewolf in heat, no matter how closely related). In this scenario, Rose would have been sent to a related pack at London, UK, to be far away from Peter, to get to know some other werewolves and possibly find a mate (on their farm she only has relatives). In my concept, those werewolves live directly in London, they have adapted to society, expect certain manners and have a dress code.
Rose feels like she can't breathe there, she never liked the smell (or, in her opinion, stink) of cities, she doesn't like to wear more clothes than absolutely necessary. She loves to run in the woods, to roll in the grass, to play with other werewolves. So she runs away from that pack, with only a backpack with her possessions. By day and/or in populated areas, she travels as a young woman with silvery blond hair, wearing jeans, shirt, sneakers. By night and/or in less inhabited areas, she travels in her "fur-form" (a very large white dog), carrying her backpack between her teeth.
