Monthly challenge: Reflections

I wanna know what you see on a day you're feeling bad.
I wanna know the first person who taught you that your reflection could ever be shown on a lousy piece of glass.
This month's challenge is Reflections.
It can be mirrors, ponds, the reflective surface of a toaster, even inner reflections. Feel free to be as literal or as symbolic as you wish... Fiction, artwork, anything!
Some prompts!
(You don't have to use them, they're just there if you want them)
* Choose a character and write about how they see themselves and how others see them. How different are the two perspectives?
* Draw a picture of what a character sees in the mirror in contrast to who they become(an example of this could be a young Anakin Skywalker seeing Darth Vador in the mirror).
* Fun house mirrors!
* How does a character view the world? Is it dark and dangerous? Exciting? Full of happiness? How do you think that character would see the world later on in life? Or when they were younger?
