With this week having Independence Day, there is a lot of talk about celebrating. I tend to remember it with macaroni and cheese and a patriotic movie, but typically (in my area, anyway) it is celebrated with barbecues, picnics, eating way too many hot dogs and ending the day with fireworks.

This month, the challenge is Celebration.

It doesn't have to be a holiday. It doesn't even have to be something the whole world can see... Sometimes celebrating is silent acknowledgment. Create something for your character to celebrate. It can be a holiday, fictional or real, or even an accomplishment. Why is it important to your character? Or if it's not, why not?
