ltsh_oocJust a quick ficlet in the LT_Safe_House verse. I do not know what things will be like by the time this does happen, but its just for fun and I wanted to show that there is indeed hope... So for those that I have epically devasted by Raphael, this is for you <3

The Sun Rises Even Amidst the Storm
Perched up in his favorite tree, Raphael happily preened the new feathers slowly coming in. They were quite small, his wings, about the size of tiny cherub wings. But they were his and oh how happy was he that they had began to grow back after he had been Restored.
Letting them stretch he looked around at the manor below. Gabriel had emerged and was strolling along the side of the building, lost in contemplation. The Healer smiled mischievously, watching his unsuspecting brother stretch out his own beautiful wings to soak in the sunlight.
"Angel pile!" Came the only warning as Raphael dropped from the tree to land on the Messenger.
Gabriel squirmed a little beneath the weight of the smaller angel, but he laughed, shaking his head in amusement. "Silly," he grinned, but he certainly wasn't going to complain when his younger sibling was finally back to himself. It had been too long since he had seen those emerald eyes shining with such happiness.
"Want a brownie?" Raphael asked. "I made some this morning."
Gabriel moved his head to one side curiously, but he was still smiling. "For the third time this week?"
The smaller angel simply shrugged, moving to lay on his back on the soft grass. He turned his head a little. "You know I'm the Angel of Lovers, right?"
Gabriel joined him, ruffling his wings slightly. "Yeah. So?"
There was silence before Raphael chuckled, closing his eyes. "I can see when someone is in love."
"That must be nice."
A grin. "It is, it really is."
He soaked in the love that the Messenger felt for the Warrior. Someday... Someday you will realize it. In the mean time, perhaps he could persuade Gabriel to deliver a few brownies to Michael.
