I have gone through and deleted my own posts.  Since I could and since I asked, but was denied (don't do that...especially since I was trying to be nice about it).  Also, Alisha has informed me that she's leaving as well and does not have time to make a post about it. Have a nice day!

P.S. I would like to appologize to Sphinx, however, as I did delete my posts out of her thread, but LJ is stupid and so she's left with only her responses to my posts that are no longer there. :/

I can safely say I'm shocked and dismayed. :'( Your Raphael was... different, but he amused me. I enjoyed watching him.

We're losing characters more quickly than we gain them, it seems. *sigh*

I can't imagine anyone will be overjoyed at losing you, Mode.
Me, I'm still shocked despite having known. I'd so hoped we could get over this with a time of slow posting and the occasional hiatus at exam time. :(

We'll miss you. Please drop by sometimes and tell us how you're doing.


Now, here's the problem: While it was easy enough to delete the three posts total Mike made with only one other character affected, I can't see how we could do this for Raphael who was so much more active. Your threads are some of the best we have and deleting them will affect several characters directly and others indirectly as we'll also have to delete any mentions of those threads in others. Brie's and Aziraphale's visit to the bar would have to go, Loki's talk with Dream and that was in turn referred to in Dream's and Brie's thread ... I don't see how we could do this without deleting half of the game.
So I'd much prefer, if you could finish your open threads and make a post about Raphael being called away. I know it'll make it harder to find a new Raphael, but then it also means that he might still be there in case you suddenly find yourself with more spare time someday.

I agree with this. As someone who took over a character in NO who'd already had two previous players, I didn't have a problem with it. Any character changes can be explained by intervening experiences, if necessary.

Actually the only thread that might have to be deleted is the one where Azi and Brie go down to the bar for chocolate mousse unless Brie and Alisha can work something out where Gabriel learns Belial can make a decent chocolate mousse. Otherwise, the other mentions are fairly vague and can easily be ignored.

I personally wouldn't have minded doing another backdated thread with Gabriel and Belial meeting in the bar and Gabriel learning in that conversation about Bel being able to make a good chocolate mousse, but she seemed busy, so...

And now I hear that she's leaving too. :'( At this rate half the game will be gone and we haven't even really got going.

I may be behind here but what bought this on if you don't mind me asking? I'd heard you say you might not have time but deleting all posts seems a bit extreme? Sorry to hear this though. :(

So, may I know the real reason for you wanting the threads deleted in the first place then? Because if, like you said in the original text of this post, the reason was to give a new player the chance to create their own version of Raphael, surely we could have negotiated this peacefully.

I stated my reasons for preferring them to remain, you replied to that, which still sounds rational enough, but then before I even reply you get aggressive and just delete? I don't get it.

As far as Alisha is concerned, I'm afraid I can't accept an 'I quit' via messenger. I once assumed Gabs could speak for her and was wrong so whether she likes it or not, I'm going to contact her one more time and ask her to tell me herself.
