HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DEAR! <3

I think I’ve already said all the cheesy things that need to be said about us in the A/N to your Christmas gift, so I’ll just thank you for the awesome year we’ve had and wish you many more.

I’m afraid I really am stuck, and could only produce this. :( I’ll try writing something better soon!

In honour of the number of times we've broken the fourth wall.

The Manor was a flurry of activity; the cleaning crew was busy with the ballroom, people were rushing around with streamers and getting tangled up in crêpe paper, and Gabriel and Loki had been expressly forbidden from going anywhere near the kitchen.

Inside the kitchen, Uriel was carefully icing a huge chocolate cake while Raphael checked on the rest of the food. In the lobby, Ishtar was preparing a relaxing blend, as Belial came out of the bar carrying several bottles of wine and Baraq tried to explain to Crowley why he and Aziraphale were on the floor and tangled in crêpe.

A few hours later, everyone was assembled in the ballroom, waiting for Michael to lead the latest guest in and remove her blindfold. She blinked, looking dazed.

  “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JEN!”

 ~*~

Also, I was messing about on Photoshop and it is really extremely hard to find two photos of Simon Baker and Santiago Figueras that look even vaguely similar enough (in terms of position, clothes and expression) to be edited into one picture. Also, I am still a relative newbie to Photoshop - this is my second time trying to do anything with it. Here you go!

... I'm trying to make a better one. xP

Edit: Here you go. Still not perfect, but I will make more. :P

Aieee! Happy birthday, Jen!

Screw that fourth wall, let's break the fifth and sixth wall while we're at it!

Awww at the photoshop attempts <3

And xD at the story. I want to say that when I first read it I read it as Aziraphale and Baraq being tangled in a crepe, as in the French food, and I don't think any explanation would have sufficed for THAT xDD

I'd be way more than just dazed ifI ended up in the manor xDDDD

Thank you *GLOMPAGE*

Have you read Havemercy? It's co-written by one of the Shoebox writers.

It's not online, I'm afraid, it's an original novel (http://www.amazon.com/Havemercy-Jaida-Jones/dp/0553806963). The writing is a little overwrought, since it's in first person and the POV alternates between the four main characters, three of whom actually talk the way they're written. (One of them, Royston, starts rambling on and on and ON in in beautifully-articulated circles whenever he's flustered. Which happens a lot.) It's hilarious and definitely as good as Shoebox, though. I still haven't gotten my hands on the sequel yet, which is annoying and remiss of me.

...The interests list in the [livejournal.com profile] thremedon fan community is actually a better plot summary than I thought.
