Because obviously we don't have enough yet. And it's unfair to keep you guessing any longer.

Your age: 20

Your country/time zone: Finland/GMT+2

A short introduction: An English major at university currently struggling with choosing a minor. Most of my spare time is spent either writing or RPing in various forms.

Any previous RPGs you’ve played in and as what character: [livejournal.com profile] neutral_omens as Uriel and Michael/Mictain, several multifandom games, and dozens (literally) Prince of Tennis games as Dan Taichi, Oishi Syuichirou, Atobe Keigo, Sakurai Masaya, Kuwahara Jackal, Mizuki Hajime, Echizen Ryoga, etc. etc. Some tabletop roleplaying as a bad-tempered mage, various one-on-one games as, among other things, a demon.

Fanfic you’ve written: Hundreds and hundreds of them. =| Good Omens, Harry Potter, Prince of Tennis, several others. Can be found at my journal and ff.net account

Other ‘references’: Several NaNos, a lot of art -- you know all this stuff already...

Your character: Artemis Fowl

Fandom they’re from: Artemis Fowl (gasp!)

Why you picked this particular character: I needed a change and figured he's as different as can be. That, and he's the only character I could think of that I could imagine playing and Fox would approve. >_>;

How did they get to Lower Tadfield: After completing yet another scheme, he was supposed to meet Butler in a sielnt, non-descript town. Only Butler never showed up for one reason or another. Deciding to spend the night at a hotel, Artemis probably noticed very soon there were non-humans around, deciding to stay to study them for a bit.

What your character is likely to do there: Study and explore all the various beings and events at the manor and try to make some sense of them. Who knows, maybe there's some profit to be made?

How do you expect them to react to the other characters already there? Be curious. Study them. He's had experience with various non-human creatures before, but not those of religious nature. He'll probably try to link everything to fairies for a while at least, and demons are likely to amuse him quite a bit, as he can't help but compare them with the "demons" he's met before. (Adam help us should he ever meet Hastur and Ligur.) May drive the more impatient ones crazy with his questions and conclusions.

Any plot ideas you might already have: You mean dropping an overly curious genius 18-year-old in a 14-year-old's body, without his usual bodyguard, in the middle of gods and angels and demons isn't enough? Fine, fine... For one thing, he'll probably have some trouble with not having any of his old friends around; he's simply not used to being alone, much though he'd like to think he can handle it. (Don't expect him to admit to missing anyone; he'd lie.) Any superintelligent beings might have to deal with him asking them for a game of chess.

Anything else you’d like to tell us about your character: Artemis is a human, but he has some minor lingering magic (I'm taking him from after The Last Colony). For all his intelligence, he can be surprisingly naive about some things, like any teenager. Oh, and he's quite possibly one of the most intelligent people (if not beings) on Earth.

Not going to lie, I went "HOLY SHIT!" when I saw the character name. Arty! Love!

It is a bit odd to see him without Butler. If we don't get a player of him, I'd suggest having an NPC-Butler get into contact with Artemis at some point to tell him he's dealing with [something] and to stay where he is where it's safe. Though there's the chance Artemis would poke his nose into whatever that situation is and try to help Butler from afar.

Him learning to cope will probably be interesting.

Can you try to finish off Uriel's open threads quickly? The one with Gabriel should be easy, I think, the Sphinx one looks might take a bit longer, but maybe you can work something out.

EEEEEEEEEEE ARTEMIS FOWL! *FANGIRLS WILDLY* I would never have guessed!

So the events of The Time Paradox never happened, then? \o/ I have to admit I am not a fan of Artemis/Holly. He would still feel human to angelic senses, right?

Gabriel is superintelligent and a strategist (though I'm neither xD) and actually most of the angels would be superintelligent, I think (though Gabriel says he's not sure about Michael xD) so he'd have quite a few people to play chess with. ;)

Yesssss. 8D

Yes, it's one of the few books I regretted buying. :X But would they be able to sense that power and know it to be fairy-origin?

xD Yeah, I'm preaching to the choir here. Although I worry about playing Gabriel playing chess because I myself am horrible at it. xD

:D xD Maybe the bad fanfic I've read turned me off it... and it actually happened in Time Paradox but reminded me of fanfic, so... :\

:D Awesome.

Just for the record, I also am a horrible chess player roleplaying characters who are great at chess xD

Well, Aziraphale is great at chess. Michael's far too "move around and do things" to be ever patient enough for it. But still. ^_^0

[raises hand] I play chess on impulse rather than strategy. Bit like Shadow from AG, but I never got the hang of checkers.

Actually, board games are a nifty way of showing quirks. Lone wolf characters concentrating on maneuvering one piece while ignoring the others, stuff like that. So that can be focused on, rather than trying to describe clever moves :D
