Not his connection with Methos and not his teacher (as he didn't have one). He doesn't know about the organisation and therefore has never tried to shake them off, so I think there shouldn't be many gaps in his chronicle. They probably picked him up the first time he fought an immortal they were already watching. He's not known to actively hunt other immortals, but neither does he socialise with them. While he has lived in England and some other countries before, he always tends to return to Central Europe and always keeps the name Jan. Last names he uses besides Skovasja (up to you whether you want them to know that that's his real one) are most frequently Zajic, occasionally Svoboda and more rarely Sokol. (All common Czech names I found on Wikipedia. Want to know what they mean, too?)
Oooh, if you're talking German I'll also add that Czech names are common in Austria as well so I read through the list going 'Oh, that's Czech?' at almost every name.
Aww, that's awesome! :D I remember looking up Indonesian names for a post as Pollution in another comm and recognising some as, perhaps, being the roots of some common Malay names in Malaysia and Singapore.
